Final Clarification - What You Can Post at DSC

All,
I received final clarification from the network provider about what we can post as a community in regards to products that you have made or deals that you are offering. They do not consider the following to be advertising:
Photos and Layouts - can be shared in the forums, your blog and in the gallery.
Product previews - can be shared in the forums (I'll set up a category for this), your DSC blog, your My Page space and in the gallery. You can only post previews of products you have created yourself. Anything else is considered advertising and is not allowed.
Designer / Member Deals (sales, specials, contests. etc/) - can be shared in the forums (I'll set up a category for this), your DSC blog, the Events Calendar and your My Page space. You can only post deals that are of your own products at any store you sell at.
ETA: Store Owner / Member Deals (sales, specials, contests, etc.) - can be shared in the forums (I'll set up a category for this), your DSC blog, the Events Calendar and your My Page space. You can post deals that are of your own products at any store you sell at. You can also post deals offered for the store you own such as a store-wide sale or event.
Free Downloads/RAKS - can be shared in the forums, your DSC blog, your My Page space and in the gallery.
Charity Events and Sales - can be shared in the forums, your DSC blog, your my Page space and the Events Calendar, whether they are your own event / product or not.
Direct Links - are okay in all your postings.
Designer and Creative Team Calls - can be shared in the forum, the Events Calendar, your DSC Blog and your My Page space.
RSS Feeds - of your existing blogs can be added to your My Page space as long as there is no advertising of products that are not your own.
That should be about it. I only have one request and that is when you are including these type of things in your posts that you include your comments to the group - For example, "I thought I would share this with the group. What do you think?" or a similar type of comment that would make your post most personal. And by all means, continue to use the forums and other site features to share your ideas and activities!

Yes, I am glad too! Here is part of the email that was sent to me:
We definitely want your members to be able to share good deals and ideas with one another, especially for your passionate members and members doing this professionally!
So, the thing to remember is that members can toot their own horn so to speak but can't "advertise" for other members or third-parties. The network provider considers your posts about things you've made and deals to be "on-topic" with what the DSC network is all about! :)
